About
Regarded as the largest bikepacking event in Italy, the Tuscany Trail starts from Campiglia Marittima in the Maremma and traverses the region on roughly 85 percent unpaved tracks. The 160 and 445 km options, with up to 5,300 metres of climbing, are ridden under a no-race format with no official rankings, within a six-day completion window. The route crosses pine and oak forests, inland Tuscan hills, the Tyrrhenian coast and protected natural areas that reveal an authentic face of Tuscany. Built for self-sufficient riders with genuine multi-day cycling experience who can independently manage food, accommodation and mechanicals, and whose training has included back-to-back sessions to condition the body to accumulated effort. Push Training 360 prepares athletes for events of this scale across 12 weeks: the base phase builds the aerobic engine, the activation phase introduces ultra-distance nutrition protocols, and the coach designs the pacing strategy and mental resilience plan so the athlete makes sound decisions when the fatigue of multiple consecutive days starts to accumulate.
