About
A race capped at 600 participants that explores the Colli Berici hills of Veneto from the town of Lonigo, a landscape of gentle limestone ridges, oak woodlands and Palladian villas. Routes of 45, 65 and 110 km accumulate 1,800 metres of elevation on gravel and dirt tracks that alternate technical climbs with sweeping views of the Po Plain. The open format welcomes cyclocross bikes, e-bikes and mountain bikes alongside standard gravel setups. The reduced field size and intimate atmosphere make this an ideal race environment to apply in competition the effort patterns and tactical decisions developed in training, without the overwhelming pressure of a large mass-start event. In Push Training 360, the coach works race-strategy psychology so the athlete can read the group, control pacing across the Colli Berici, and make tactical decisions with composure, using the intimate setting to consolidate competition habits built over the 12-week plan.

How to prepare for the Berica Gravel Citta di Lonigo with PUSH TRAINING 360?
Over 12 weeks with weekly reviews, the PUSH TRAINING 360 plan covers 4 phases: aerobic base (rides on rolling terrain similar to the Colli Berici), threshold building (short ramp intervals to handle repeated climbs), specificity load (3-5 hour sessions with 1,800 m accumulated elevation), and tapering in the final 10 days. Three-phase nutrition includes pre-race glycogen loading, fuelling every 40-50 minutes during the race, and post-competition recovery. Pacing recommends staying below threshold on the first hills given the repetitive nature of the elevation.
