About
The NonStop Gravel Cantabria is one of the toughest ultra-distance events in northern Spain, starting and finishing in Alfoz de Lloredo on the Cantabrian coast. Three formats are available: 500, 220, and 120 kilometres, with the longest option delivering a brutal 12,000 metres of elevation gain. The terrain of Cantabria, with its green valleys, mountain passes, muddy forest tracks, and coastal access roads, tests both physical endurance and autonomous management skills. Pure bikepacking at its most demanding, suited to experienced ultra-endurance cyclists. At Push Rider, 500 kilometres and 12,000 metres of climbing are approached with the race-specific nutrition phase already consolidated — hydration, fuelling, and night-time supplementation well-rehearsed — while the coach uses weekly TrainingPeaks sessions to develop pacing discipline and psychological resilience so the CTL load across multiple days does not break the nervous system.
