About

Set in the forested hills of Halland on Sweden's southwest coast, Gravel Grit n Grind packs two distinct race atmospheres into a single weekend: UCI Gravel World Series racing on Saturday and Nordic Gravel Series on Sunday. Both the 90 and 150 km options cover compact gravel forest tracks with 1,280 metres of elevation gain, blending technical sections with sustained climbs through dense Scandinavian woodland. The event doubles as a qualifier for the 2026 Gravel World Championships and the 2027 European Championships. At Push Rider we design the threshold-building and specificity phases of the 12-week plan so that the rider arrives with watts calibrated to the 1,280 metres of elevation and the inter-effort recovery speed needed to perform in the decisive moments of a race at this level.
