About

Now in its seventh edition, Falling Leaves Lahti closes the Finnish gravel season with one of the most visually striking events on the Nordic calendar. Starting from Nastola in the Paijat-Hame region, four distances of 50, 100, 175, and 275 km wind through conifer forests and lake-dotted terrain as the autumn colours reach their peak. Saturday's 175 km UCI qualifier provides ranking points for the Gravel World Championships. The forest gravel varies between fast, open stretches and more technical sections. At Push Rider Falling Leaves Lahti crowns the tapering phase of the 12-week plan: precise load management in the preceding weeks, refined race nutrition, and pacing strategy work for the 175 km UCI distance are the three elements that allow the rider to arrive at the qualifier at peak form, which is exactly what this level of race demands.
