Why did The Traka sell out so fast?
The Traka has been the European gravel benchmark for years. The three-distance format — 100, 200 and the long 360 km — covers everyone from the cyclist targeting their first major event to those looking for a multi-day challenge. Klassmark works with a capped field due to logistics and route permits across the Costa Brava tracks.
Registration for the 2027 edition opened on 16 July 2026 on the Rockthesport platform. Spots for the 100 (130 EUR) and 200 (240 EUR) sold out in approximately one week. This is not a surprise: previous editions followed the same pattern, and the race’s international profile has only grown.
Is there a waiting list or entry release?
There is no official confirmation of a waiting list for The Traka 2027. What tends to happen with events like this is that some entries are released through withdrawals or transfers, but Klassmark has not communicated any specific mechanism for this edition.
The best approach if you want an entry is to follow Klassmark’s official channels — their website, social media and newsletter — and watch for any announcement. Do not assume a waiting list exists or that entries will be released.
Is any distance still available?
As of 25 July 2026, the long distance (360 km) is still available on Rockthesport at 290 EUR. The race takes place from 30 April to 2 May 2027 in Girona.
Before entering the 360 by default, be honest about your situation:
For whom the Traka 360 makes sense:
- You have already completed the 200 or another event of equivalent distance.
- You have the base to handle 360 km and more than 5,000 m of elevation gain across several days.
- You can structure at least 20 weeks of specific preparation.
For whom the Traka 360 does not make sense right now:
- You have never raced more than 200 km in a single day.
- You were targeting the 100 or 200 as your season goal and missed an entry.
- Your current level would not handle the volume without injury or DNF risk.
Entering the 360 to fill the gap left by the 200 is a recipe for an autumn of overtraining and a January with injuries. There are better options.

Santa Vall 2027

If you already have a spot in any Traka 2027 distance, preparation starts now. Not in January.
