About
Starting from the Blåvand lighthouse at Denmark's westernmost tip, where the North Sea meets the Kattegat, Drivvejen GRVL is a fully self-supported bikepacking event with zero external assistance. Four distances of 85, 175, 350, and 500 km follow the Grus Brevet format across the gravel roads, dune corridors, and open heathlands of southern Jutland. The flat terrain demands sustained effort and smart energy management rather than technical climbing. At Push Rider we integrate the three nutrition phases and the sports psychology blocks focused on pacing and resilience into the 12-week plan: in fully self-supported events like this, knowing when and how much to eat on the bike, and keeping a clear head when the body wants to stop, is what separates finishers from those who don't make it.

Nutrition covers 3 phases: pre-race loading, continuous caloric intake during the event, and recovery. Weekly reviews adjust training load and logistical preparation for self-management in the race.
